I’m Alyssa, a lifelong DIY-er, crafter, and paper junkie. I am glad you’re here. Let’s do this.

Now THAT's a Dandelion!

Now THAT's a Dandelion!

This layout. What can I say about this layout? Well, maybe a few things.

  1. Serendipity. You know, like when you cut a file with your Silhouette, just because you like it , but then don’t use it.

  2. Challenges. And then, there’s a challenge in one of your favorite scrapping groups (if you haven’t heard of the Secret Not Secret Kit Club, check it out here.) that is a photo of the Northern Lights.

  3. Paper. And THEN… you just happen to have the papers on your desk to perfectly compliment the photo that’s up next in your PL album.

Clearly, this was meant to be.

Dandelion Square.jpg

My daughter found this 3-ft dandelion when we were in the middle of a renovation (and clearly neglecting the yard). I snapped a quick photo, but because I was in the middle of sanding trim I didn’t check it. I wish I had because it is blurry… but oh well. It made the cut anyway, because she was so delighted with that dandelion!!

I created the background with Distress Oxide inks. I just LOVE how they show up on darker backgrounds.

Thanks for taking a peek!
